I pray that the coming words encourage you to remember who God is: an ever-present, loving God who will never let you be alone. You may not remember the last time someone outstretched a helping hand, gave a word of encouragement, or shared in the joy of a blessing. For others, the thought/reality of being alone may be all too real. If that is the case, may the next little bit remind you to not take God’s omnipresence for granted. We all need companionship.įor most of us, it is probably difficult to think about the absence of companionship due to our family, friends, and relationship with God. We all need someone to be there for us in times of need. Also, no one wants to face uncertainty, suffer, or face difficulty alone. It will rob all the joy that the moment creates. A one-person high-five or pat on the back is demoralizing. When things go great, we want our family and friends to cheer alongside us. No one wants to celebrate or suffer alone. We are talking about the absence of companionship. Others might say being alone sounds nice right about now however, we are not talking about the absence of another person in a moment. I think each of us has to use our own minds and hearts when studying the word of God. I believe He speaks to each of us directly if we are humble and come to Him with love and a true desire to understand and we will know if what we believe is right or not.
